Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain global, scalable services.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement checks for readiness, liveness, and monitoring of services.
  • Assist in logging services to measure availability and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Utilize RDBMS and NoSQL databases to support development on the design and API level.
  • Create containers using tools like Podman or Docker and support in setting up pods in Kubernetes.
  • Work with clouds like Azure and AWS.
  • Document requirement analysis, implementation details, and operational readiness using Markdown, LaTeX, Confluence, or 365.
  • Enhance monitoring and logging solutions, specifically leveraging OSS tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Assist in evaluating new technologies, including functional programming, new OSS or commercial tools.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong track record of successful project implementations.
  • Proficiency in Go, Bash.
  • Strong Linux knowledge, including systemd, processes, threads, permissions, and command-line tools.
  • Experience working with RDBMS and NoSQL to support development at the design and API levels.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Podman, Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.
  • Proficiency in implementing monitoring and logging solutions, preferably using OSS tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Ability to evaluate and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, including security by design, encryption, and identity management.
  • Advanced level of English
Nice to have:
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, LESS.
  • Ruby, Python, or C#.
  • Nice to have experience or be open to developing in Rust.
  • Knowledge of German is a plus.
