Crelative Technologies is seeking a seasoned Senior/Lead Software Engineer to play a vital role in our cross-disciplinary team, collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers, data analysts, UX/UI designers, and business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Building sophisticated software components, services, and applications.
- Advocating and adhering to software engineering best practices, emphasizing high-quality code, code reviews, TDD (unit, E2E, accessibility tests).
- Hiring, developing and mentoring others.
- Preparing design documents and conducting reviews with software engineering and architecture peers, actively incorporating feedback.
- Presenting results to peers and senior management, effectively and proactively influencing decision-making processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Hands-on experience (7+ years) in building complex end-to-end software systems, successfully delivering them to production, and supporting them through on-call rotations in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Java, Python, C++, C#) with a strong understanding of object-oriented design. Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, runtime complexity, API, and database design, along with TDD.
- Familiarity with security and privacy best practices and effective monitoring, logging, and alarming for production systems.
- Applied knowledge of software engineering tools and approaches across all lifecycle stages.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective communication with peers and senior leaders.
- A continuous learning and improvement mindset.
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
